SkateBirken is Birken’s mass-participation free-technique ski race across the Norwegian mountains. The official Birken event page confirms the 2027 edition on Friday 19 March as a 53 km skate race from Rena to Lillehammer, open to both recreational and elite participants, with entry allowed from age 16.
