Quixote Bikepacking

Quixote Bikepacking is an ultra-distance gravel loop through Castilla-La Mancha, starting and finishing in Toledo, Spain. The 2026 edition begins on May 9 and covers 525 km with around 2,900 m of climbing, on a mix of about 70 percent dirt roads, 20 percent low-traffic asphalt, 8 percent greenways and 2 percent urban sections. The route follows the literary trail of Don Quijote past Tembleque, El Toboso, Argamasilla de Alba, Manzanares and Consuegra, with six checkpoints, supply stations and mechanical assistance zones. Riders may enter solo, in pairs or as a relay team.
