Monção e Melgaço Granfondo

The Monção e Melgaço Granfondo returns on 20 September 2026 to the Minho valley in northern Portugal. The granfondo offers three road-cycling routes of 125, 98 and 75 km, with the queen climb being the ascent to Alto de Alcobaça and an excursion to Cevide, the northernmost point of mainland Portugal. Organized in partnership with TREK and Bike Service, the event uses Monção and Melgaço as host towns and draws riders from across Iberia. Chip-timed sectors and full road support accompany all three distances.
