Madrid to Barcelona by PedAlma

Madrid to Barcelona by PedAlma is an unsupported ultracycling event that links the two cities along a 700 km route with about 7,500 m of climbing on secondary tarmac roads. The 6th edition starts in Madrid on May 29, 2026, with riders given 50 hours of self-sufficient riding time to reach Barcelona. The event is organised by PedAlma and includes luggage transport (max 15 kg) from start to finish. Any non-electric bike is allowed; external assistance is forbidden in keeping with the event's adventure and self-sufficiency philosophy.
