La Carrera del Pavo is a traditional popular cycling race held every Christmas Day in the historic centre of Segovia, Spain, with the 2026 edition rescheduled around its usual 25 December date. Riders use bikes with no chain or transmission, gathering speed down Calle Teodosio el Grande and crossing the Plaza del Azoguejo at the foot of the Roman Aqueduct before grinding 300 m up Calle Real to the finish at Plaza del Seminario. Registration is free on the day at the Azoguejo visitor centre and only a helmet is required. The winner traditionally takes home a turkey, with a duck for second and a chicken for third. The event is organised by the Segovia city council sports department.
