DESCRIPTION:The Cicloturista La Cubilla is a road cyclosportive in Asturias that starts in Pola de Lena and finishes atop the Alto de La Cubilla at 1\,672 metres\, one of the most iconic climbs in the Cordillera Cantábrica. The route crosses the councils of Lena\, Mieres\, and Langreo\, taking riders through Asturian mining valleys and beech forests with intermediate passes at Santo Emiliano and La Mozqueta. The event sits inside the Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve and draws cyclo-tourists from across Spain.
